She has lived in Tamworth all her life and started at BVS&CC as the After-School Program teacher. She loved making arts and crafts projects with the students, and with a little persuasion from Mrs. Coville, who says "she is a natural", Nicol stayed at BVS&CC to teach the Kindergarten program. Nicol's patience, enthusiasm and dedication make her a teacher students are lucky to have. Nicol also enjoys Alpine and Cross-Country skiing, snowmobiling, reading, and playing with her dog, Nugs.

Her fundraising work led her into many school systems where children were affected with cancer and she realized she wanted to get into education. She enjoys working with the students at Bearcamp. Lisa lives in Wolfeboro and plays ice hockey for the She-Wolves.
