About
Us
Our Mission at the Bearcamp Valley School and
Children’s Center is to provide a safe,
nurturing and stimulating environment for children;
to seek a balance in addressing each child as
a unique social, emotional, intellectual, and
physical person; to empower children to be responsible,
caring, creative, hardworking, and playful contributors
to their community; and to support and work
in partnership with the children’s families,
both to respond to their needs and to offer
participation in the center’s daily life.
Bearcamp Valley School and Children’s
Center is a private, non-profit educational
and childcare facility which does not discriminate
on the basis of race, religion or ethnic origin.
Funding is available for income-eligible parents
who work, are seeking work or attending school.
Our food and nutrition program, supported in
part by the U.S. Department of Agriculture,
serves breakfast, lunch, and morning and afternoon
nutritious snacks.
